I am trying to figure out the feeding schedule with Emerald Forest. I am sure that the plants need to be feed more than once a week according to the feeding chart? Another thing that I am not seeing, besides at week 9, is flushing . . . my experience is they need to be flushed to keep roots and the plant safe from damage by excessive nutrient levels. I am very interested in this product, but need more guidance than what I am seeing on the feeding chart
The answer to the question of how much to use and how often, truly depends on if you are in soil or hydroponics. From the way you worded your question I am going to assume you are using containers, gardening in soil. If this is the case, the type of soil is a factor.
Most customers are in an organic, nutrient rich soil and will alternate between fertilizer in water and just plain water as they see fit. Some gardeners maintain their containers by using a method such as: feed, water, feed water. Some gardeners find feeding every other time to be too much food and choose to use the method: feed, water, water, water.
If a customer is using a product such as Pro-Mix, were the soil has not nutritional fertilizer within it, they will typically feed every watering or, alternate between feeding and watering as they see fit.
Optimally, you would monitor your run-off with a PPM and pH meter to gauge the level of optimal nutrients to continue to feed. Too much food, add plain water until the levels are back in the optimal range (500ppm-1500ppm).
If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out. W have had a few conversations with the guys over at Emerald Harvest and they have let us in on some of the secrets to really boost the power of their nutrient line.
*The biggest variable here, as with all gardening ,is the uptake and nutrients preferences of the plants in question. As plants change, so do their nutrient requirements.

Typically once you see the signs of flowering, or fruiting, you can begin to switch from Grow to Bloom. This should be around somewhere around September.
